Chaplet of Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity. Just as we pray to God the Father and to His Son Jesus Christ, we should also have a prayer devotion to the Holy Spirit. There are many ways that we can pray. One is the Chaplet of the Holy Spirit.
The Chaplet of the Holy Spirit was composed in 1892 by a Franciscan Capuchin to honor the Holy Spirit. It was approved by Pope Leo XIII in 1902.
It has five mysteries for meditation: 1) By the Holy Spirit is Jesus conceived by the Blessed Virgin Mary, 2) The Spirit of the Lord rested upon Jesus, 3) By the Spirit is Jesus led into the desert, 4) The Holy Spirit in the Church, and 5) The Holy Spirit in the soul of the just man.
