Saint Michael Chaplets
We offer hand crafted St. Michael the Archangel chaplets in a variety of colors. Check our Etsy store (when it is available) for our current inventory of colors. For most of the chaplets, the medal has a St. Michael image on one side and the Guardian Angel image on the other. Examples chaplets are shown below.
St. Michael appeared to Servant of God, Antonia d'Astonac and told her that he wished to be honored by nine salutations corresponding to the nine Choirs of Angels. She composed the St. Michael chaplet in 1750. It was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1851.
St. Michael made the following promises to Antonia d'Astonac:1) Whoever would practice this devotion would have, when approaching the Holy Table, an escort of nine angels chosen from each of the Choirs. 2) Whoever recites the chaplet daily would obtain his assistance and that of all the holy angels during life, and after death deliverance from Purgatory for themselves and all their relations.
