This hand crafted chaplet honors the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Chaplet of the Immaculate Conception was composed by St. John Berchmans, S.J. (1599-1621). He prayed it daily for the grace not to sin against the virtues of purity, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Pope Pius IX proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception in the apostolic constitution "Ineffabilis Deus".

The Little Crown of the Blessed Virgin Mary Chaplet honors the 12 stars on the crown of the Blessed Virgin Mary as cited in Revelation 12:1, "And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars." (Douay-Rheims 1988 American Edition Version). St. Louis de Montfort recommended praying this as a morning devotion.
