St. Paul is in an important advocate for our times because of the persecution our church is undergoing and confusion within the church teachings. St. Paul is a great intercessor for praying for our church, for our shepherds to evangelize the truth, and for persecutors of our church to have a change of heart because St. Paul had such a great conversion from Saul (persecutor) to Paul (apostle and evangelist). St. Paul is a great patron to ask intercession of to correct the confusion within the church because he was steadfast to Jesus and the truth and even admonished St. Peter when he saw hypocrisy.
